Terms
What you agree to when you run your salon on SalonWard, in the same plain language we use everywhere else.
Last updated 28 August 2026
SalonWard is a platform for running a salon or barbershop: calendar, online booking, point of sale, inventory, marketing and reports. These terms are the plain-language agreement between SalonWard and the business that opens an account.
Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, add two-factor authentication in Settings if you want the extra lock, and make sure the people you invite only get the roles they need. What happens under your account is your responsibility; keeping the platform secure is ours.
Every salon starts with a 14-day free trial of the full product, no card required. After that, you pick a paid plan (monthly or yearly) to keep going.
You can cancel anytime: renewals stop, and access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for. No exit fees, no retention hoops.
Your client book, appointments, invoices and settings belong to your business, not to us. You can export client records from the product at any time, and our privacy page describes exactly how data is handled while it's in our care.
Use SalonWard for running your business, not for spam, unlawful content, or attempts to break or probe the platform's security. Marketing tools must only message people who have consented. The product enforces unsubscribe links and consent records to help you stay on the right side of that.
We work to keep SalonWard fast and available, and we ship improvements continuously. Sometimes that changes how a feature looks or works. We can't promise perfection or uninterrupted service, but we can promise that fixing problems is always the first priority.
To the extent the law allows, SalonWard's liability for issues arising from the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the issue. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice and a chance to put things right wherever that's reasonable. On closure, export your data first; erasure follows the process on the privacy page.
For the personal data your salon keeps in SalonWard, such as clients, appointments and staff records, your salon is the controller and SalonWard processes on your instructions. The processing agreement is part of these terms for every salon account; no separate signature is needed, and a countersigned copy is available on request.
These terms, and every agreement on the platform between SalonWard and a salon, are governed by Dutch law. Disputes that talking cannot resolve belong to the competent Dutch court.

When these terms change, the date above moves and substantial changes are announced to account holders inside the product before they take effect.
