Getting started
SalonWard is a complete management platform for salons and barbershops: calendar and appointments, online booking, checkout and invoices, client records, staff scheduling, inventory, marketing and reports. One secure home for the whole business instead of a patchwork of tools.
Independent hair and beauty salons, barbershops and growing multi-location studios. It works for a single chair and scales to teams, branches and franchise estates. Pick the plan that fits today and change it whenever you like.
Yes. The calendar is built for how a shop actually runs, with per-barber schedules, bookable chairs, quick checkout and tips. The whole product works just as well for a barbershop as it does for a beauty salon.
Yes. The CSV import wizard previews your file, maps columns automatically, de-duplicates against existing records and lets you choose how blanks are handled. You can export everything back out at any time.
You can be ready the same day. A guided setup walks you through services, staff, opening hours and pricing; import your client list, share your booking link, and you're taking bookings.
English, Dutch, French, German and Spanish, end to end, covering this website, the app your team works in, your booking page and the emails your clients receive. Your salon picks its own language, so a French salon's clients book and get confirmations in French whatever this site is set to, and every visitor here can switch language in the header. The translation system was built to carry more languages as SalonWard grows.
Bookings & clients
Yes. Every salon gets a branded booking page clients can use around the clock. It honours real staff availability, supports multi-service visits and group classes, can ask for a deposit up front, and offers a waitlist when a slot is full.
No app required. Your booking page works in any browser. Clients pick a service, choose a stylist, and confirm a time slot that respects real staff availability and resource limits.
Yes. Confirmation emails carry a secure link where clients manage their own booking within the notice window you set, and the client portal shows their upcoming visits, packages and loyalty points with one-tap rebooking.
Email confirmations and reminders are included on every plan, and clients who add your portal to their phone can receive push reminders as well, so fewer no-shows without you chasing anyone.
Running the business
Yes. Staff get profiles with their own services, availability and time off, plus role-based permissions that control what each person can see and do. Every plan includes a set number of staff, and the pricing page always shows the current numbers. You can buy extra seats as an add-on when your team outgrows it.
Yes. Manage multiple locations under one login, each with its own staff, calendar, opening hours and pricing, while reporting rolls up across the whole business when you need the bigger picture. Every plan includes a set number of locations, and extra locations are a per-location add-on, so opening another branch never means jumping a whole tier.
Turn a completed appointment into an invoice in a couple of taps, take payment, and keep a clean record. Products sold at checkout draw down inventory automatically, so stock stays accurate.
Yes. Connect your own Stripe or Mollie account in settings and SalonWard can take booking deposits, send pay-by-link requests for invoices, and charge your online shop and membership plans (both optional add-ons). The money settles in your account, not ours, and we add 0% commission on top of any of it. At the counter, checkout records cash and card payments alongside gift cards, packages and wallet credit.
Yes. Gift cards with balances and prepaid session packages come with the plans that include checkout, and recurring memberships are a priced add-on. All of them can be sold at the till or through your online shop and are redeemed automatically at checkout.
Yes. The Marketing add-on brings segmented campaigns with open and click tracking, plus automated moments like birthday wishes, welcome messages and win-backs. Every marketing email carries a working unsubscribe link and respects each client's consent.
Yes, on the plans that include inventory. Track retail and back-bar stock with movements and low-stock reorder points, manage suppliers and purchase orders, and keep a separate stock pool per branch. Sales at checkout draw down quantities automatically.
With the Online shop add-on, clients can buy gift cards, memberships and wallet top-ups, and order retail products for click-and-collect, all under your salon's own branding.
Yes. Choose from 10 professionally designed style presets, each polished in light and dark, and apply them per channel: your booking page, your online shop and the app your team uses can each carry their own look, even per branch.
Plans & billing
Plans are simple flat subscriptions with optional add-ons, and paying yearly costs less than twelve monthly payments. Prices are public and always current on the pricing page, which shows the exact yearly saving. No calls, no quotes.
Yes. You get 14 days of the full product, no credit card required. Pick a plan only when you're ready; if you don't, your account simply pauses rather than charging you.
Nothing scary. There's no card on file, so you're never charged automatically. Your account pauses until you choose a plan, and your setup and data are waiting when you come back.
Optional extras priced on top of any plan, of two kinds. Capability add-ons, such as Marketing, the Online shop and Memberships, switch a feature on for your salon. Capacity add-ons add headroom to the plan you already have, by the location or by a block of staff seats. Everything currently on sale is listed with its price on the pricing page, alongside anything we have announced but not yet released. All of it is free to explore during your trial, and billed only while it's switched on.
Your billing page always shows what you're using against what your plan allows, so you can see it coming. From there you can move to a bigger plan, and where extra capacity is on sale you can add a location or a block of seats to the plan you already have instead. Either way SalonWard shows you the new total before anything is charged, and going over a limit never deletes anything you already have. It just stops new additions.
You get a plain explanation, never a dead end or an error. The page tells you which plan or add-on unlocks it and links straight to Billing, and anything you had before stays exactly where it is. The rule is enforced on our servers rather than just hidden in the browser, so a plan you're paying for is the plan you actually get.
No. SalonWard is a flat subscription. We never take a cut of your bookings or your revenue, and your prices stay your own.
Anytime, from Billing, in a couple of clicks. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can export your data whenever you like.
Yes. Switch between plans, or change your add-ons and extra capacity, from Billing at any time. You see the new total before you confirm, and if a change would take a capability away, SalonWard tells you exactly what.
Trust & security
Yes. Every business runs in its own isolated tenant. Access is scoped to your team's membership and enforced at the database level, so one salon can never see another's customers, appointments, or revenue.
It's built with GDPR workflows: export a client's complete record or erase it on request, per-client consent flags for marketing, hosting in the European Union, and essential-only cookies, with no advertising trackers. The privacy page has the plain-language version.
It stays yours. Export your customers and records at any time, and request full anonymization or deletion. There's no lock-in. SalonWard is designed to earn your business every month.
Yes. Everyone signs in as themselves, roles control what each person can do, staff can be limited to specific branches, and an audit log records sensitive changes. Anyone can protect their account with two-factor authentication.
Yes. Every screen is built for all three, and the front desk tablet was a first-class target rather than an afterthought. Your team can install it like an app on a phone (with an offline-capable day view for stylists), and your clients book from any browser without installing anything at all.
